Platinum Motorsport have recently modified another Maybach to join the Kim Kardashian fleet – a custom S580 “Pantone”. The vehicle is a fully custom build that started life as a two-tone black Maybach S580 and has been completely transformed to make it one of the most unique Maybachs we’ve seen. In a recent video with Vogue, Kim described this particular Maybach as her “favourite baby” and it’s clear to see why.
The Maybach is painted in Pantone, a custom colour Kim Kardashian developed along with Los Angeles based Platinum Group. The group have recently posted a video showing Kim’s fleet painted in matching colours including a Mansory Lamborghini Urus, and Rolls-Royce Ghost. This is the second colour the company have developed with Kim Kardashian, after painting her custom Cadillac Escalade in custom KK Silver colourway.
The Pantone paint is used on all exterior details of the car including the wheels, front grille, and even the custom Maybach badges giving the car a menacing look. Although the new Maybachs traditionally come sporting the Mercedes star on the hood, Platinum have opted for the custom Maybach badges instead to stay true to the classic look of the prestigious model range.
This particular Maybach Sedan has been lowered on 22-inch dual block Avant Garde SRX06 wheels but retains the comfortable ride that is to be expected from Mercedes’ most luxurious model range thanks to a state of the art suspension system.
The car also features a custom illuminated rear trunk emblem that is embedded into the boot as part of a custom build, as well as tinted windows all around to ensure privacy for both the driver and the passengers.
Platinum Group have now been Kim’s go-to for multiple car builds including her unique Cadillac Escalade ESV, as well as her Mansory Lamborghini Urus and her chrome finished Maybach. Other vehicles in Kim Kardashian’s collection include a rare Mercedes SLR McLaren, a Lamborghini Aventador, and multiple Rolls-Royces.
