Rolls-Royce has long been known as the king of luxury automobiles and the new Phantom is here to raise the bar. While the changes are subtle, the new design elements on the interior and the exterior will further enhance the car’s luxury appeal and make both the driver and the passenger feel even more special.
When it comes to design changes, the Phantom’s iconic design will see some changes towards a more minimalistic look. The Pantheon grille received a facelift by repositioning the front plate. The potential buyers will also be able to go for a dark chrome finish on the grille which can also be illuminated just like the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament that Rolls-Royce is famously known for. Another new design feature is the polished horizontal line that separates the daytime-running lights and gives the front of the car a more modern look.
When it comes to the interior, no major changes have been made, besides the addition of a slightly thicker steering wheel. Rolls-Royce has also added a new silver-on-white interior colour option called Phantom Platino.

After the recent announcement of Rolls-Royce Spectre and the brand electrification programme, most petrolheads would expect the new Phantom to include some kind of EV or hybrid technology. However, the new Phantom remains true to the brand’s V12 heritage and does not use electric power for its powerplant,
When it comes to the engine, the new Phantom will still use the now legendary 6.75l twin-turbo V12 coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission topping out at around 560bhp and 660 lb-ft of torque, and while the Rolls-Royce is not known for its crazy speed, it will still be able to reach 62mph in just 5.3 seconds. This fact is made even more impressive considering the whopping weight of the Phantom, coming in at just over 2500 kilograms.
