VINWiki founder and YouTuber Ed Bolian has recently achieved one of his automotive dreams by purchasing a beautiful 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV. In classic Ed Bolian fashion, the car comes with a less than desirable history and was purchased from a seller in Germany after living in a couple of other European countries before that.
The news came after Ed originally announced that he was selling all of his fifteen cars, as he had “an opportunity to buy something crazy”. Ed ended up selling nine of the fifteen cars in around 24 hours and he later revealed that the idea behind the sale was to create liquidity needed to purchase one of the Chiron test mules that Bugatti was rumoured to be putting out for sale to private individuals.
However, after Ed realised that the Chiron test mules might not be getting sold to customers, he directed his attention to another automotive unicorn. After receiving a message from one of his followers about a mysterious Lamborghini Murcielago SV with a build number plaque that apparently did not match the car, Ed decided that this was the perfect car for him. He ended up purchasing the vehicle for a “fair price” and shipping it straight to Atlanta.
Like all other SV’s, the Lamborghini Murcielago that Ed Bolian bought comes with one of the least comfortable interiors that Ed seems to be struggling with due to his towering height. Apparently, he has injured his back after the first drive on American soil but still states that the Lamborghini is better than a Chiron he was originally interested in buying due to its rarity and the special place it holds in his heart.
The vehicle currently sports an appropriate license plate with the word “YOUTUBE”, which was previously on one of Ed’s other Lamborghinis and will join his other two beautiful Murcielagos -LP640 Roadster and an LP640 coupe.
