Russian luxury automotive tuning house TopCar Design has recently released an exclusive limited edition project titled Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon Edition featuring a full carbon exterior in chocolate finish.
Angering the true Porsche purists, the 992 Stinger GTR has some unusual features such as a bonnet with a small spoiler just below the base of the windscreen. It also has vents at the top of the front wings and fenders for increased airflow.
The extensive list of changes doesn’t end on the outside of the car. Raising the hood reveals a brand new bespoke interior panel in a camouflage-like brown carbon pattern. The car also features a fully custom interior (at extra cost).
The Stinger GTR Limited Carbon Edition will be limited to only thirteen units worldwide each priced at exactly $100,000 for the body kit itself, excluding additional parts which can be purchased for extra costs.
The additional options do not come cheap. A change of colour to a carbon body like this is an extra €25,000 (£21,000), with interior upgrades fetching a further €35,000 (£30,000). The customer should also expect to pay extra for some other must-have updates such as forged wheels or the Akrapovic exhaust that gives the Porsche a vocal-chord upgrade.
The total kit contains 84 new parts for the 911 made of 4 layers of carbon fibre in exclusive chocolate colour granting it an exclusive membership to the chocolate-coloured supercar club alongside Manny Khosbin’s gorgeous Veyron Grand Sport Roadster Vitesse Rembrandt.
For some owners, this might seem like a lot of money just to add some aggressiveness to a Porsche 911 with almost no performance or handling changes, but those who choose to purchase one of the TopCar Design kits will no doubt create a more exclusive look for their car that only thirteen cars worldwide share.
