Built in 1970. Reborn in Tokyo. A special 911S that bridges continents, cultures, and generations of craft.

Under the neon pulse of Shibuya, a Gulf orange 1970 Porsche 911S idles quietly. Its engine beating against the ambience of the city. Its legendary silhouette instantly recognisable.
However, this particular 911 is no museum piece. Its motorsport heritage shines through and matched with its racing livery, quickly makes you understand the kind of beast you’re dealing with.
The owner purchased the 911S back in 2007, and what began as a simple project evolved into something far greater: a tribute to the golden era of racing that’s capable of standing toe to toe with modern Porsches, both in speed and in soul. Every modification and detail is guided by a single principle – to build a car that could hold its own on the circuit without losing the essence of its era.
The owner is no stranger to high-performance machines. Before the 911, he was a proud owner of a now legendary piece of Japanese engineering – a Nissan Skyline GT-R tuned to 700 horsepower, yet over time, he found himself looking for something more than just raw power.
Porsche represented that shift: a mechanical masterpiece known all around the world for prioritising driving emotion over pure power.
The heart of the build

After widening the original body, the transformation began. The original engine was replaced with custom Mahle 3.8 high-compression pistons and cylinder set, and a 3.8 RSR cam. To handle the increase in power, the drivetrain was upgraded to a G50 transmission, ensuring that the newfound power could efficiently be transferred to the road.
Inside, the details tell the story. A fully custom carbon-fibre dashboard, along with a ton of custom-made details instantly makes the car stand in a league of its own. The car itself was brought to life by three of Japan’s top tuners, each adding their own fingerprint to the project, resulting in a truly one-of-one build.
This unique tuning philosophy makes the 911S feel more alive than most modern performance cars precisely because it resists convenience. Every movement demands the driver to be present, and every response delivers feedback from the road.
The inspiration

The decision to pursue a Porsche came long before ownership. As a child, the owner saw a photograph of a Porsche 935 Turbo, flames shooting from its exhaust as it thundered down a racetrack. That image never left him. It captured the magic of mechanical violence balanced by a unique and unforgettable design, something that no other car brand could replicate.
Years later, that same image would guide the build’s philosophy. Whilst it looks phenomenal, this particular Porsche is a track car first and foremost and is complemented by the raw, no-nonsense design.
Form and function

As most seasoned petrolheads will be quick to notice, the design cues borrow from Porsche’s iconic 1972 Le Mans 911 RSR, but the aesthetic choices still serve performance over pure aesthetics.
Lightweight panels. Precise geometry. Nothing exists for show.
When asked what he loves most about the car, the owner’s answer is simple: “Its direct operation and superb responsiveness. I believe no other car surpasses it.”
That line alone defines his entire ethos – a pursuit of connection between driver and machine that transcends horsepower alone.
Japanese influence

Although the car was born in Stuttgart, it was spiritually reborn in Japan. The country’s tuning culture is rooted in craftsmanship, where engineering mastery is an art form and every detail reflects discipline and heritage.
This 911S embodies that spirit completely. Built through collaboration with Japan’s most respected workshops, it fuses the precision of German design with the soul of Japan’s underground racing scene. It’s a car that could only exist here – one part European racing heritage, one part Tokyo rebellion.
A one-off legacy

Today, this 911S stands as a one-off in Japan, its shape and specification unmatched anywhere else. It’s the physical expression of a true enthusiast project. A car built to be driven, not displayed.
In a city of light and noise, this orange 911S moves differently. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t beg attention. It just exists – pure, mechanical, and timeless.
Because true performance never ages. It evolves.
